Very short first issue with no dialogue to speak of. It’s an interesting start to a new Black Widow series. Very different from the Edmundson/Noto run which I absolutely loved.

The art and colours are pretty to look at and fit the dynamic layout of this book. The first issue didn’t really reveal what the book is about except that Natasha had a falling out with S.H.I.E.L.D., stole something from them and is now being hunted down… There’s a lot of action, that’s for sure.

I enjoyed what I saw so far, even if it’s not nearly as good as the Edmundson/Noto beginning – for me at least.

I guess we’ll have to wait for the next issue to find out more.

My rating: 3/5
